About
As an Educational Psychologist, Kathleen Browne conducts psycho educational and behavioural assessments and provides intervention frameworks and ongoing monitoring of Response to Intervention (RTI) in consultation with & problem solving with stakeholders. Screening for disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD and mental health and/or socio/ emotional difficulties includes differential diagnosis via liaison with Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology (PCC) or CAMHs, primarily with the school age population (4 - 18). She also conducts cognitive and Dyslexia/Dyscalculia assessments with third-level students and the adult population.
She brings 21 years of teaching and school management and communication industry experience, people skills and counseling methodologies to facilitate individual and group discussions to explore problems and options for resolving concerns. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is maintained by ongoing research and training. Mental Health coaching skills are employed in coping with stress, anxiety, panic, being overwhelmed, time - management and learning resilience skills.
